Merino Tweed is tweed yarn, spun from merino wool, recycled silk is a little bit of synthetic. The threads are soft, filled with charming tweed buds, which reveal beautifully in the knitwork and give it additional colours, expression and style. The yarn is actually a little thinner than what would be expect looking at the meters (that's a good medium yarn), so it's really suitable for various warm sweaters, vests, hats and scarfs. The yarn is suitable for adult and children garments. Knitting from Merino Tweed is quite quick, so quite soon you will be able to enjoy your new tweedy project. 

NOTE: a new batch of yarn has just arrived, which looks like you see in the photo below: the wool thread is a little lighter than in the main photo, after knitting it creates a very charming soft light melange.
