Merino Cotton knitting yarn is ideal for children's knitting because it is extremely soft (it has absolutely no "biting" feeling). Knitworks from them will be cooler than made from pure wool, so Merino Cotton is a very good choice if you are looking for yarns for active children or people who often feel too hot in woollen clothes.
