Fjord - knitting Scandinavian patterns has never been so easy. Fjord yarns can let you feel a real virus of patterned knitting! These yarns are dyed in such a way that the knitwear itself is printed with beautiful patterns reminiscent of the Scandinavian style, so in order to have a patterned winter knitwear, you don't need to do anything extra, just knit and constantly watch how the patterns are laid out. The threads are spun from high quality merino wool and some synthetics. Fjord threads are very soft, fluffy, gentle and, in our subjective opinion, really not biting. Knitting with them is a real pleasure! Fjord yarn can be used to create sweaters, vests, dresses, hats, scarves, blankets and other knitwear for both children and adults. Also, thanks to the synthetic blend, you can knit thicker socks from these and they will wear really well. Create the beauty of Scandinavian patterns easily and simply :)

    Notes:

    • although the manufacturer recommends sufficiently thick needles, you can definitely use much thinner ones, because the thread is fluffy, but not thick. In particular, we advise you not to choose too thick needles for the sweater, because Fjord yarn consists mainly of merino wool, and if it is knitted too loosely, it can be difficult to keep the original shape of the knit after washing. A stretchy knit is always better for merino wool.
    • keep in mind that when a sweater is knitted in from top down in round, the pattern of colours will be different than knitting in separate parts. So when knitted from top down, the knitted pattern may not look identical to the colour pattern from the examples. But your knitting will look amazing anyway :)
