Nanoq is a thick, soft and very warm merino wool knitting yarn. Nanoq means "polar bear", and these bears are really not afraid of any cold :) So the yarns named after that are warm and suitable for the coldest weather. You can knit extremely warm hats, neck warmers, gloves, thick, massive sweaters or vests. It is great that Nanoq is really soft, so a hat or scarf will be comfortable wearing close to skin.
